I wanted to go over a pet peeve of mine. It is about our virtual wax ups with CEREC for implant planning. Too often this is done carelessly. While most of the time it won’t make a difference, slight differences can be important. This becomes especially important when doing multiple teeth.
Let me share an example of the way I try to ‘perfect’ the virtual wax up.

![Initial proposal](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI2.jpg)
![Frontal view of initial proposal allowing you to see how the proposal is not ideal](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI3.jpg)
![First Step is to utilize the Position & Rotate tool](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI4.jpg)
![Rotate and position the tooth back into position being sure to look from the frontal view](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI5.jpg)
![Next utilize Scale tool to thin buccal-lingual dimension to more ideal final size for implant restoration](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI6.jpg)
![Utilize Scale tool to adjust the mesial-distal dimension](../wp-content/uploads/2014/08/CGI7.jpg)

This same principle is what I apply to all my CEREC proposals.
